Event tourism: Festival of Russian theaters

International festival of Russian theaters of the Russian Federation and near abroad "Compatriots". The annual festival was opened in 2006 by the International Association of Russian Theaters. Passes under the patronage of the Head of the Republic of Mordovia in March on the stage of the Russian Drama Theater. Participants from all regions of Russia, CIS and Baltic countries are invited. Russian classical dramaturgy and works of contemporary authors, a brilliant game of artists and original scenography restore the interrupted links of Russian culture.
